Love Thy Neighbour and Melting Vinyl have joined forces to welcome the psychedelic explorers, Flamingods, to the stage of Komedia. Bred from Bahrain and based in London, the four-piece band were formed in 2010 by Kamal Rasool.

Pronounced 'fla-min-gods' the quartet of Rasool, Sam Rowe, Charles Prest and Karthik Poduval, released their sixth studio album, Levitation, with Moshi Moshi Records on May 3rd of this year. The band found themselves in the same continent for the first time in four years during the process of writing and recording Levitation, following years of being split between London and Bahrain.

Flamingods 2016 album Majesty sparked their exploration of the globe, delivering great psychedelic vibes spanning across America and Europe. Inspired by music from the East, jazz and Western psychedelia, Flamingods are known for their explosive use of instruments to create a worldly sound that shouldn't work. Not only is their creation of music a kind of therapy for the band, but it also becomes a kind of therapy for the souls of their listeners.

Sleep Eaters, a five-piece transcendent country garage band from the depth of South London will be supporting Flamingods, alongside Brighton bred LibraLibra, a powerful quartet that will leave audience members stunned and blown away!
