In a similar manner to the existence of humans, Levitation Room crawled out of the slime in 2012 and came into existence. The Los Angeles band, Levitation Room will be appearing at the Rialto Theatre with support from Dead Coast and Holy Magick.
Having spent time around Europe, Levitation Room will be ending their tour in Brighton, whispering sweet nothings into the ears of all that gather. Skillfully capturing the essence of a summer of love, Levitation Room's music is hallucinating and hazy, putting listeners in a dreamy daze of all things bright and beautiful.
Julian Porte (guitar and lead vocals), Gabriel Fernandez (lead guitar and vocals), Johnathan Martin (drums), Brandon Graham (bass) and Glenn Brigman (organ and piano) make up the mediative band. Levitation Room's latest single Warmth of the Sun sums up the feeling their music emits. A euphoric escape into the mites of summer, surrounded by loved ones.
London based band, Dead Coast formed in late 2013 from the ashes of the psych-pop band, The Trippers. Previously supporting the likes of Allah Las, Tomorrow's Tulips and Fat White Family, Dead Coast's second studio album, Red Solstice, released on the 14th June, is a transcendent journey into the weird and wonderful. Further support from Brighton based psychedelic dream-rock band, Holy Magick, will be joining Levitation Room. Following the released of their self-titled album, Holy Magick describe the recent album as "a collection of Nihilistic anti-romance ballads." Very mysterious!
