The Southern Californian five-piece, Sacri Monti will be lighting up Brighton's Hope & Ruin with their early 70s influenced progressive psychedelic krautrock. Brenden Dellar (guitar), Dylan Donovan (guitar), Anthony Meier (bass), Evan Wenskay (organ and synth) and Thomas Dibenedetto (drums) are the five buds from the same musical seed, making up the loud five-piece rock band.
Sacri Monti recently signed to New York's Tee Pee Records ahead of their self-titled debut, scheduled for release on July 24th. Their upcoming album is a natural-flowing, whirlwind lead by guitar, laced with the heavy classical sound of the organ, hinting at elects of progressive ideas and methods, whilst keeping their style intact.
Sacri Monti will be joined by support from GNOB, and SQUIG. London based GNOB are a three-piece heavy psych powerhouse, influenced by Eastern and Arabic music. Nicholas Serpico (guitar and vocals), Morten Sharp-Head (drums) and Ben Kenobi-Marflar (bass) share a belief of peace love and strong psychedelics.
Founded in the year 2017, SQUIG is a Brighton based medieval dad math rock trio. Harry Harrison (guitar and vocals), Jacob Stirrat (bass and vocals) and Ollie Smart (drums and vocals) have a ton of live experience up their sleeves, with a history of playing at every venue possible in Brighton. SQUIG should not be missed, a well-anticipated start to a great lineup!
