Review | Tundra Love @The Green Door Store 12.3.19

Tundra Love by Peter Judge-Fernandez instagram.com/pjf.96

Following the release of their debut single, Sacrificial Man, a hazy melodic journey of comforting vocals and unnerving drums; Tundra Love are taking Brighton and beyond by storm. Formed in the winter of 2017 Tundra Love aren’t afraid of thinking outside the box, experimenting with elements of stoner rock, heavy chaotic instrumentals with a sprinkle of melancholy.

With support from rising chaotic and heavy psychedelic Brighton band GURU, East Staffordshire born melancholic grunge Murmur and the dreamy, kaleidoscopic DREAMWAVE, the evening was destined to be an enchanted clash of striking music for the packed crowd.

Having recently surfaced on the Brighton music scene, Tundra Love captured the attention of every individual in the crowd, unnerved by the packed intimate room of The Green Door Store. This quintet band comprised of Callum, Nick, Giles and Tim are shaking up the well-adored music scene of Brighton. With another gig booked for the middle of May alongside GURU and The Psychotic Monks, hosted by the wonderful Acid Box at The Hope & Ruin, brace yourselves for the exciting future of Tundra Love. It’s going to be a crazy ride!
